About PCFR
The Phoenix Committee Foreign Relations offers its members nine (9) or more programs during its season, from September through May of each year. Members gain an educational, intellectually challenging experience through small, interactive, monthly exchanges with renowned speakers who share candid insights into the broad range of critical global policy. Meetings are restricted members and their guests and are off the record. We do invite media coverage to our "International State of the State" address by the Governor of Arizona in May. Throughout its 30 years of hosting speakers, PCFR has welcomed guests as varied as US and foreign ambassadors, cabinet ministers, policy-makers analysts, journalists and on rare occasions, heads of state.
In order to be responsive to our speakers' schedules, we do not have a fixed meeting date. Our meetings are typically dinner meetings held during the week with cocktails at 6:00 p.m., dinner at 7:00 p.m., which is then followed by a session of remarks as well as substantive questions and answers from 8:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. We also occasionally schedule a breakfast, lunch or early evening forum.
