PCFR Event Information
From September through May each year, the Phoenix Committee on Foreign Relations offers its members nine (9) or more programs. Educational, intellectually challenging experiences are provided via interactive, monthly exchanges with renowned speakers willing to share candid insights on critical global policy.
PCFR balances meeting dates with speakers' schedules, requiring flexibility on our members' calendars. Our meetings are typically weeknight dinner meetings beginning with cocktails at 6:00 p.m., dinner at 7:00 p.m., after which our speaker shares his remarks, followed by a substantive questions and answers. Meetings usually conclude at 9:00 p.m. Occasionally our speakers prefer to address us at breakfast or lunch, but the routine always ends with Q& A. For current and upcoming events, please click here. For further information on others speakers that have presented over the years, please visit our Past program page.
We urge our members to recommend speakers to the Program Chair, and willingly coordinate speakers' arrangements with regard to media, special guests and/or special visits. In conformity with the Council on Foreign Relations' policy, we do not offer an honorarium.
