Arizona's Premier Foreign Affairs Organization
What We Do
For 50 years, PCFR has welcomed a variety of distinguished guests; US and foreign ambassadors, cabinet ministers, policy-makers, economists, analysts, journalists, authors, renowned educators and heads of state.
The Phoenix Committee on Foreign Relations strives to raise the level of international awareness in both public and private sectors because of our belief that unbiased information leads to improved policy making. We’re determined to promote better understanding of global trends, and we particularly encourage the involvement of students of government and international affairs.
The end result of our airing on all sides of significant issues should be a heightened respect for honorable discussion. As our speakers enlighten us, we improve our community relationships, as well as our global business climate, and we create appreciation for the greater truth -- that we are all on this planet to enhance its progress, stability, and survival.

Our History
Originally founded as an offshoot of the New York Council on Foreign Relations in 1976, the Phoenix Committee is now an independent, nonprofit, non-partisan, membership organization dedicated to positioning metro Phoenix as a major regional and international policy center. Composed of community leaders, PCFR’s goal is to assist our members in adapting to a rapidly changing world.
