Conni Ingallina Internship
Since 2022, the Phoenix Committee on Foreign Relations has proudly offered the Conni Ingallina Internship, honoring the late Conni Ingallina, who served as PCFR’s Executive Director for 16 years. Conni was the steady, experienced hand who guided generations of PCFR leaders with diplomatic tact and unwavering grace.
In addition, Conni Ingallina Interns receive complimentary PCFR membership for the year and the opportunity to participate in the PCFR Book Club and Great Decisions program.

Internship Overview
The Conni Ingallina Internship offers undergraduate students from accredited universities and community colleges in Arizona the opportunity to engage with Arizona’s leading foreign relations organization. Interns gain meaningful, hands-on experience through projects that directly support PCFR’s programs, membership engagement, development, and marketing efforts.
The internship runs for one semester, with two positions available each academic year—one in the fall and one in the spring. To be eligible, applicants must be currently enrolled at an accredited institution in Arizona.
Candidates must commit to 5–10 hours per week. Interns must be able to support the PCFR team at 75% of in-person events and have access to appropriate technology to participate in remote, virtual work. A computer, reliable access to Wi-Fi, and a phone are required, along with demonstrated ability to use virtual platforms such as Zoom, Google Suite, Canva, and others.
The ideal candidate is a student with a strong commitment to global affairs and an interest in nonprofit leadership. As this role includes regular interaction with distinguished speakers from around the world, the intern must maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality. This educational internship opportunity reports directly to PCFR’s Operations Manager.
We are seeking a self-motivated, detail-oriented, creative, and globally minded individual to help advance PCFR’s mission: to grow Arizona’s global prominence by providing forums that explore critical foreign policy issues and foster enduring international connections.
Think this is the right fit for you but got questions?
